The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 1992 GMC driven by 18 year old Joseph W. Jacobson of Clinton, Missouri failed to negotiate a curve, vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck an embankment before overturning.
Mr. Jacobson sustained serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia for treatment. The truck was totaled and towed by In Motion Towing.
