The flushing will resume first thing in the morning. The water plant needs to make more water to fill the tower and ground storage tank. We cannot deplete our water supply in the event of an emergency. We will begin at 6th and Cedar and head east at around 7:00 am.

The City Council voted tonight to give a $30.00 credit for water to all active accounts. We realize a credit cannot make up for the inconvenience you have experienced as a result of this issue but the Council and city staff understand your frustrations with the issues that have been plaguing the city over the last 30-45 days. We are working to put preventative measures in place so we will be notified of potential issues with the chemical feed for the sodium permanganate before they become an issue.
