Obituary - Helen "Pat" Patricia Falcon

Helen Patricia “Pat” Falcon (Schnepp), from Belton Missouri, age 81, passed away on August 25th, 2021 after a battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

A visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on August 31, 2021 at St. Sabina Catholic Church 700 Trevis Ave., Belton, Missouri 64012. Following visitation, a Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. A private family Inurnment will take place at Leavenworth National Cemetery at a later date.

Pat was born on December 30th, 1939 in Greenville Michigan to Daniel Schnepp and Neva Dietrich. After graduating from High School, Pat enlisted in the United States Air Force on November 1st, 1958 in Detroit Michigan. Pat was a highly ranked Women’s Tennis player, competing for the Air Force at many tournaments across the Country. Pat served in the Air Force for 4 years, achieving the rank of Sergeant.

While stationed in Hickam AFB in Hawaii, Pat met her husband, Louie Falcon who was also serving in the Air Force. Pat and Louie were married on May 1st, 1965 at Grand Forks AFB in North Dakota. Upon Louie’s retirement from the Air Force in 1972, they moved to Belton Missouri where Pat lived with her family until her death.

Pat was an active member of Saint Sabina Catholic Church in Belton Missouri, both as a parishioner and also working for the Church until her retirement in her later years. Pat’s husband Louie was one of the first Permanent Deacons for the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph. Pat was very proud to be a Deacon’s wife, was a fierce Defender of her Catholic faith and worked hard with her husband to grow the program beyond its initial founding in 1972.

Pat’s interests included Duck Hunting, Fishing, Target Shooting, Mountain Biking and Reading. Pat was a diehard fan of her beloved Detroit Tigers, Michigan Wolverines, Bayern Munich and German National Soccer team.

Pat is survived by her brother Bruce Schnepp, her two sons and their spouses, Joe and Stacy Falcon, Andy and Jill Falcon, six Grandchildren and eight Great Grandchildren.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband Louie and her son John.
