State Farm student athlete of the week

We are so excited to announce our first State Farm Student Athlete of the week for the 2021-22 school year Taitlyn Madison. Taitlyn is a junior on the Lady Bears varsity Volleyball team. She was nominated by her Coach Kassidy Hannah. Coach Hannah states “Taitlyn has been a leader during the off season in the weight room and when preparing for the season she consistently provides encouragement and accountability for the rest of her team.” She is one of the team’s co-captains this season. 

When we asked Taitlyn to describe an elite athlete in her own words, she said “you can tell who those elite athletes are by the way they lead their team on the floor and how they encourage their teammates and give them confidence.” Taitlyn is most looking forward to growing this year as a team. She states “we have a young team and I look forward to continuing to build and grow as a team this year!
