She married Jered Michael Hicks on June 14, 2014 in Clinton, Mo., and he survives of the home. Shelly was employed as a Certified Nurse’s Aide for 20 years with various nursing homes and in home services. Prior to that she was a floor manager for Price Chopper in Kansas City, Mo.
She enjoyed reading and listening to music. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sisters, Cristal DeAtley, Tightwad, Mo., and Angela DeAtley, state of Iowa; mother and father in law, John and Janie McAllister, Clinton, Mo.; two sisters in law, Sarah Hardison and husband Jason, Moberly, Mo., and DeAnna McAllister, Clinton, Mo.; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
