While the Deputies were en route Dispatch advised them that the vehicle had wrecked at State Line Road. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene on foot.
Deputies set up a perimeter. A K-9 Deputy arrived to conduct a search of the area. K-9 Lector was able to locate the subject and apprehend him.
The subject was taken to the Bates County Memorial Hospital and then was transported to the Bates County Jail. He was placed on a 24 hour investigative hold pending charges. The vehicle was towed from the scene by R & B towing.
