Two vehicle accident in rural Hume

On January 12th around 4:00 p.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Vernon County along with Vernon County Sheriff's Office responded to a two vehicle accident on V Highway around 2 miles south of Hume.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the southbound 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by 26 year old Misty L. Allmond of Richards, Missouri crossed the center line and struck the northbound 2002 GMC Truck driven by 25 year old Robert L. Brown of Hume.

Misty L. Allmond along with a passenger in her vehicle a juvenile male both sustained injuries in this accident and both were transported by ambulance to Nevada Regional Medical Center for treatment.
