Building collapse on the Clinton square

We know many of you are concerned about the east side of the square right now. There is a wall between two buildings that appears to have crumbled.

However no one was injured, everyone was able to safely exit, and they are currently working on stabilizing the wall so there is no further damage.

As to what caused the incident, it looks like there was a construction issue that destabilized the wall. This was not a building failure, and every effort is being made to ensure the stability of surrounding structures.

We will endeavor to keep everyone up-to-date as we get more information but ask in the meantime that you keep all of our Square’s shop owners in your thoughts and prayers during this hard time. -
