Obituary - Dakota B. Winchel

Dakota B. Winchel, age 20, of Peculiar, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 19, 2022.

Services will be held at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. A visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. followed by a time of sharing at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Longview Cemetery in Kansas City, Missouri.

Dakota was born in Kansas City, Missouri on December 5, 2001 to Joshua B. Winchel and Jennefer M. (Jacobs). Dakota attended Ray Pec High School and has been working as a cook at Buffalo Wild Wings in Belton, Missouri. He was an excellent cook, loved to hunt, fish, and valued his time with his brothers and sisters.

Dakota was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Randy Winchel; paternal great grandmother, Grace Lemasters; and maternal grandfather, Ralph Koontz.

He leaves behind his loving parents, Josh Winchel (Heather) and Jennefer Jacobs; three brothers, Taylor Jimenez, Austin Jimenez, and Hunter Winchel; three sisters, Michelle Brown, Hailey Brown, and Randi Winchel; paternal grandmother, Linda Cox (Stoney); paternal grandfather, George Lemasters (Linda); paternal great grandmother, Judy O’Neall; maternal grandmother, Deb Crow (Perry); maternal great grandmother, Mary “Nanny” Koontz; Maternal aunt, Kassie Castle (Adam); maternal uncle, Rowdy Madden; maternal grandfather, Marvin Madden; paternal step grandmother, Sherry Davis (Gerald); many maternal great aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many other friends.
