Shirley Ann grew up in Deerfield and graduated from Nevada High School Class of 1961. For many years she worked at Key Work Clothes in Nevada and later worked at Western Insurance in Ft. Scott for a number of years. She then worked in Private In-Home Healthcare until her retirement. Shirley Ann loved shopping, taking care of her cat “Peaches”, was an avid Denver Broncos fan and loved listening to George Jones music.
Survivors include one son, Charlie Holland (Tena), Nevada; grandson, Chandler Holland, Nevada; great-grandson, Weston Brooks, Hume; brother, Fritz Koopmann (Sharon), Deerfield; sister, Jolene Koopmann, Nevada; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She also leaves behind her special cat “Peaches”. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Dale Koopmann.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with Pastor Jeff Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in Deerfield Cemetery, Deerfield, MO. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at Ferry Funeral Home.
