Refreeze Warning for tonight and early tomorrow morning

As temperatures continue to drop across the state into the evening hours, snow and wet roadways could refreeze, creating slick conditions.

Bridges and overpasses are especially prone to black ice. Use extra caution if you must be on the roads. Buckle up and adjust your driving.

Traveling tonight is not worth risking your life or someone else’s. Keep Missouri’s first responders & snow removal crews safe by staying off the roads. 

If you MUST drive as part of your evening commute, please continue to exercise extreme caution. 

Buckle up, drive slow, increase your following distance — if you end up stranded stay in your vehicle until help arrives.
