Greetings!
It is my pleasure to join the Sherwood-Cass team and serve as the Middle School Principal next year! This year marks my 10th year in education. Prior to becoming principal, I had many educational experiences teaching English Language Arts at both middle and high school levels in Missouri and Kansas. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education with an emphasis in English from Pittsburg State University, a Master’s of Science in Reading from Emporia State University, and an Educational Specialist degree from William Woods University. I have also had the privilege of coaching a number of sports as well. By pursuing lifelong learning, I intend to be an example to students and teachers that we should never stop learning.
I am engaged to be married this October to my future wife, Sarah, as well as blessed to be the father of two awesome children, Caius and Kamryn. My family is active in sports and recreational hobbies. We love to explore new areas and spend time as a family!
It is my privilege to be a part of the Sherwood community and the many talented teachers and students here! My goal is to continue to provide a supportive climate and culture within the district that is conducive to teaching and learning. I look forward to meeting with all in our school community!
