Brian Allen Watson, 41, of Columbia, Missouri passed away Saturday morning, January 8,2022 at his home. He was born February 23, 1980 in Lexington, Missouri, the son of Loy Merton Summers and Vicki Corrine (LaJaunie) Summers.
He spent his last 8 months with his girlfriend Laura Kovaleski. He enjoyed working on cars, hanging with friends, going to the lake, and was always willing to help others.
Surviving are one daughter, Briana Nicole Watson, El Dorado Springs, Mo.; two sons, Anthony Brian Edward Watson and Zachary Allen Loy Watson, El Dorado Springs, Mo.; one brother, David R. Watson and his wife Dana, El Dorado Springs, Mo.; one sister, Anna-Marie Bias and husband Jason, Ashland, Mo.; one stepbrother, Scott L. Summers and husband Gino, Kansas City, Mo.; one stepsister, Kim Tavesh, Houston, Tx.; two grandchildren, Payton and Sophia; five nephews; four nieces; and one great-nephew.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother. Brian recently connected with his biological father’s family and was able to meet his one surviving brother Benjamin Wolkey, IV. He was also preceded in death by biological father, Benjamin F. Wolkey, III; and brother, Brian Wolkey.
Memorial services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 18, 2022 at the Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home, Clinton. The family will receive friends from noon to 1:00 p.m., just prior to the memorial service.
