A winter storm is expected from late Wednesday evening/overnight through much of the day Thursday. Rain and even thunderstorms later today will transition to sleet and freezing rain and eventually snow from northwest to southeast tonight.
Regardless of snow amounts dangerous travel is expected Thursday due to the mix of freezing rain and sleet, followed by the snow dropping temps.
