Two juveniles injured in Tuesday afternoon crash in Cedar County

On September 13th around 5:30 p.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cedar County along with Cedar County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle rollover accident on U.S. 54 Highway around two mile west of El Dorado Springs, Missouri.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the westbound 2007 Pontiac G5 driven by a 16 year old juvenile female from El Dorado Springs was westbound when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, crossed the centerline and overcorrected again before the vehicle traveled off the roadway again, struck the ditch, and overturned and struck a fence.

The 16 year old driver suffered moderate injuries, and a 7 year old male passenger is being treated for serious injuries after being taken by ambulance to Cedar County Memorial Hospital in El Dorado Springs.
