Update: Two escape injury in rollover accident in rural Bates County

On September 14th around 7:30 p.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County along with Bates County Sheriff's Deputies, Bates County EMS and Butler Fire Department responded to a one vehicle rollover accident on Route J just north of CR NW 5002 in rural Bates County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2003 Ford F-250 driven by 26 year old Crystal Routen of Butler was headed south when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a ditch, and overturned.

Routen and a passenger, 35 year old Joseph McKellips of Amoret, sustained minor injuries and refused treatment on scene.
