Appleton City went down early by a score of 20-8 but managed to battle back and only trailing 20-16 at halftime. Liberal was too strong in the 2nd half and managed to pull away.
Liberal will look to keep on winning as they will hit the road on October 14th to play the Rich Hill Tigers (0-6).
Appleton City will look to get back on the winning track as they host the Lockwood Tigers.
