Two escape injury after accident involving a Amish buggy in Henry County

On October 6th around 5:22 p.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Henry County along with Henry County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident involving a vehicle that struck an Amish buggy on NE Highway Y at NE CR 1100 in rural Henry County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the southbound 2000 Chevrolet driven by 47 year old Betty J. Brown of Clinton, Missouri made a left hand turn at an intersection and struck a Amish buggy in the drivers side door.

Betty Brown and the buggy driver 24 year old John H. Shrock of Windsor, Missouri both sustained injuries and both refused medical treatment at the scene of this accident.
