A GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held at St. Ludger’s Cemetery in Germantown, Missouri on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Fr. Jason Koch will officiate the service.
MILITARY GRAVESIDE PRESENTATION will be done by Montrose VFW #8820 and the Missouri Honor Guard - Army INTERMENT will also occur at St. Ludger’s Cemetery in Germantown, Missouri. MEMORIAL donations may be made to St. Ludger’s Historical Trust.
John Peter Hake, 66, from Lee’s Summit, Missouri entered the loving arms of our heavenly father on February 1, 2023. John was born on March 28, 1956, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Clem and Lucy (Puthoff) Hake.
He was an avid fisherman, hunter and loved riding his Harley.
John proudly served in the United States Army from 1974 to 1977 at Fort Leavenworth, Fort Riley, and Korea. John retired as a graphic designer from Banta Corporation. He also retired from the Lee’s Summit school district as a bus driver.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Clem, and Lucy Hake.
He is survived by his sister Jeannette Dennison (Rick); Sister Gina Hake; Brother Bill Hake; Nephew Tony Hake, and Niece Jenni Nelson and her children; Piper, Lani and Jace.
