Obituary - Michael John Womack Jr.

Michael John Womack Jr, age 22, was an extraordinary person who left us entirely too soon on March 16th, 2023. Michael was born on August 19th, 2000, in El Dorado springs, MO., to Kristena Bailey and Mike Womack, Sr. Michael left behind his amazing children, his mother and father, his little sisters and brother, his girlfriend, the mother of his kids, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was loved by so many.

Michael was born in El Dorado Springs, MO., but he was all "city" with his long hair, baggy jeans, high tops, and black beanie. He moved away for quite a while. During that time, his life was a rollercoaster, but he made the most of every single day. At the age of 17, he ended up moving back and getting his life back on track. Michael was a family man, and he didn't want to be too far from anyone, so once he was back, he never left.

He had many passions and talents. He was extremely passionate about his music; rap meant so much to him from such a young age. He was also passionate about his family and very persistent about everyone being together; he wanted to see everyone or no one at all. He was also very talented in freestyling and always had a way with words. He enjoyed countless hours spent playing family games he knew he couldn't play and listening to music and making fun of the entire song, always with a smile on his face. He also enjoyed playing video games like nobody's business and constantly played day or night with his brother-in-law and many friends. But he found his true, eye-opening love and passion when he became a father.

From the time Jaxon Michael Womack, his son, was born four short months ago, Michael didn't want to put him down or leave his side. He took to becoming a parent, ran with it, and never looked back. He would spend time with his son and Oliver, his stepson, playing with them. He would have done anything for his boys and wore his pride for them as a badge.

During his life, Michael impacted more lives than could have been counted. He had a contagious smile that could brighten anyone's mood, wisdom that was beyond his years that could help push you through anything, and he had a big heart that he tried to hide. He was a very outspoken, loud, and insightful soul that could make anybody love him. He was a free spirit in every way possible, so carefree and adventurous, and he deeply cared for and loved everyone around him.

Michael is survived by many amazing people that he loved dearly, his son, Jaxon Michael Womack; his stepson, Oliver Petitt; his mother, Kristena Bailey; his father, Mike Womack Sr; his stepfather, Christopher Bailey; his sisters, Keirra Womack and Mackinzi Bailey; his brother, Cj Kuepper; his girlfriend, Rivers Petit; his grandmother, Tena Higbie; his uncles, Chad Hale and Tommy Higbie; his aunt, Shawna Hale; and many cousins.

Many people have been left behind to remember and grieve for Michael and for who he was. He left us all with his smile engraved into every shut-eye, he left us all with his jokes, and he left us all with the memories of the goofy, intelligent, outspoken, wild blue-eyed boy everyone loved. Michael would want everyone to be strong during this time because we all know he would have been. He would have been our rock.

Michael will forever be loved. This is not goodbye, just until I see you again.
