Busy day for the Nevada Fire Department

Today your Nevada Firefighter’s started the morning off around 0630 with a vehicle fire at Pilot. A shift arrived on scene an found a small fire had started in the engine compartment of a truck but was extinguished by Pilot employees.

At 0830 B Shift was called to McDonald’s for a fryer that was on fire. Upon arrival the hood system had activated and employees using an extinguisher had the fire out.

At 1535 B shift was called to the Bathrooms at Walton Park for a structure fire. Chief Denney and Engine 212 with a crew of 4 arrived to find the bathroom with heavy smoke and fire. 

The fire was extinguished and overhaul was performed extinguishing hot spots. Quint 216 responded with 3 off duty personnel.
