I was made aware of this post that appeared this morning. The Sheriff’s Office is not working a shooting investigation this morning or anytime connected to this poster’s page. 

Had we been working a shooting we would have utilized our social media to inform the community and we would have worked with the multiple reputable news sources here locally.

It amazes me that people put in so much time and effort to create drama, stir emotions and just flat out lie. Please before you click on something or share something make sure the source is credible.
