A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr., Raymore, Missouri, 64083.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Sabina Catholic Church, 700 Trevis Ave., Belton, Missouri 64012. Mary Pat will then be laid to rest at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
Mary Pat was born in Kansas City, Missouri, on October 3, 1945, to Francis M. Gabhart and Evelyn Regina (Harr) Gabhart. After graduating high school, Mary Pat attended Cosmetology School at Aladdin Beauty College in Kansas City, Missouri. She was joined in marriage with her husband, Marion Biondo, at St. Therese Little Flower Parish on February 27, 1965. Their union was blessed with seven children. Mary Pat and her husband, Marion, moved to Belton, Missouri, in 1971 and built a successful business for their family, Four Way Plumbing. In life, Mary Pat was a woman of the Catholic faith and was an active parishioner at St. Sabina Catholic Church for 51 years. Mary Pat had a strong devotion to the Blessed Mother and St. Joseph. She was one of the founding members of the St. Joseph Table at St. Sabina and the lead organizer for many years.
Mary Pat always provided loving support to her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, attending their sporting events, and watching the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals.
Mary Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Evelyn Gabhart; brothers-in-law, Jim Klebenstone and Joe Morris; and nieces, Connie Klebenstone and Caren Klebenstone-Smith.
Here to cherish Mary Pat’s memory is her loving husband of over fifty-eight years, Marion Biondo; seven children, Nick Biondo (Renee), Mike Biondo (Michelle), Stacy Gudenkauf (Larry), Joe Biondo, Katie Biondo, Marion Biondo Jr. (Angie), and Allie Biondo; brothers, Michael Gabhart (Kathy) and Gerald Gabhart (Mildred); sisters, Charlene Klebenstone, Jane Blando, and Diane Morris; twenty-one grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
