Osceola man arrested after short chase

According to St. Clair County arrest reports, on Monday, May 8th, Deputies patrolling Roscoe noticed a vehicle with no license plate light. 

The report indicates the driver, 51 year old Thomas Edwards of Osceola, was not cooperative and attempted to flee the scene.

Following a short altercation, Edwards was arrested and charged with resisting arrest by fleeing, felony possession of a controlled substance, and felony third degree assault of a special victim.

Mr. Edwards was taken to the Cedar County Jail, being held on a $20,000 cash only bond.
