26 grams of meth recovered after search warrant served in Lamar

During the late evening hours of 06/12/23 the Lamar Police Department developed information that led them to believe that illegal drug activity was occurring at a residence in the 1700 block of Gulf St in Lamar.

Officers sought a search warrant through the Barton County Prosecutor’s office, and we were able to get the search warrant around midnight. This morning, 06/13/23 at about 05:30am Lamar Police Officers served the search warrant.

The officers did locate approximately 26 grams of suspected methamphetamine. Shirley E Rose, 42, of Lamar Mo was arrested and is currently incarcerated at the Barton County Jail.

Charges for Delivery/Distribution of a controlled substance are being forwarded to the Barton County Prosecutor.

As is the case in all arrests, charges are based on probable cause and all persons are considered innocent until or unless proven guilty in court.
