Around 7am, Nevada Fire Department C shift was dispatched to a structure fire in the 600 block of east maple.
Due to shift change taking place Engine 219, Quint 216 and Rescue 214 were able to respond with 8 personnel immediately.
Upon arrival there was heavy fire to the rear of the home. All occupants were able to safely exit the house after waking up to the smoke detectors sounding.
