Butler hosts wrestling scramble Thursday evening

Last night The Butler Bears hosted a high school boys and girls wrestling scramble which 18 schools from Missouri and Kansas were in attendance.

Results:
Damian Alkire: 3-0.
Issac Rodriguez: 3-0.
Bryce Bedwell: 2-0.
Dylan Davidson: 1-1.
Lucas Davidson: 1-1.
Preston Mallatt: 1-1.
Mayan Pajula: 1-2.
Kaleb Mallatt: 0-2.
Rhett Newsome: 0-2.

Kaleb and Rhett did well. This was Kaleb’s first time on the mat in a long time. Rhett is in a tough weight class for an incoming Freshman.

We had some really close matches that could have gone our way if it was the regular season.

We had some really good wins, and some dominating performances.
We travel to Nevada next Thursday.
