Mississippi truck driver escapes serious injury in Vernon County rollover accident

On Friday June 9th around 5:30 p.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Vernon County along with Vernon County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a semi truck rollover accident in the northbound lanes of I-49 around 2 miles south of Milo, Missouri.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the northbound 1999 International 9200 driven by 73 year old George E. Landfair of Jackson, Mississippi veered off the roadway, struck a tree, and overturned.

Mr. Landfair sustained minor injuries and was taken for treatment to Nevada Regional Medical Center.
