Marvel and Carl made their home in west Butler. She was a member of the Butler Church of Christ and enjoyed serving her community. Marvel was active in giving swimming lessons to local youth in the unforgettably frigid, early season waters of the Butler swimming pool. She and Carl enjoyed boating, camping, and water-skiing with friends and family.
