Travis grew up in the Appleton City area, where he graduated from high school in 1990. He also completed an associate’s degree State Fair Community College. After completing his education, he worked many jobs, finishing his career at Church and Dwight in manufacturing.
Travis had a wonderful sense of humor and was always willing to help those in need. His children and family were the pride of his life. Additionally, he was a great listener, encourager, and would pray for anyone that needed it. Travis enjoyed tinkering with all sorts of things and got great joy out of scrapping metal.
He is survived by his wife Sandy Anderson; three children: Karl, Isaac, and Rachel Schiereck; his parents, Roger and Thresa Schiereck; two brothers: Jared (Amanda) Schiereck and Brett (Valarie) Schiereck; five nieces and nephews: Avery and Reece Schiereck, and Tessa, Taylon, and Trace Schiereck; along with many good friends, who will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be Friday June 23rd from 1-2 pm at the Hill & Sons Funeral Home located at 213 W. 6th Street in Appleton City. Funeral services will follow at 2pm.
