The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the westbound 2007 Chevrolet HHR driven by 47 year old Wesley E. McCowin of El Dorado Springs, Missouri ran off the roadway and struck an embankment.
Two passengers in the vehicle 43 year old Anna C. McCowin of El Dorado Springs, Missouri and 19 year old Tripp Z. Varner of El Dorado Springs, Missouri both sustained serious injuries and both were transported by Life Flight to Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri for treatment.
Mr. McCowin sustained minor injuries and he was transported by private vehicle to Cox South Medical Center for treatment.
