Derryl was born in Mountain Home, Arkansas on October 20, 1950 to Nathalie and Hoy Sisney. As a child his family moved to Independence, Missouri. In 1980 his son was born.
Soon after he met the love of his life, Teresia at Parker McCory where they worked together for many years. They were married in 1986 and he was blessed with her and her four children. In 2009 they moved to Clinton, Missouri with is best friend and brother in law, Mike Fisher, to enjoy retirement.
He is preceded in death by both his parents and his brother.
Survivors include his sons Daniel (Laurie) of Buffalo, Missouri, Miguel of KC, Missouri, Tammy (Aaron) of Girard, Kansas, 17 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
Derryl was a devoted Chiefs fan, loved his family, painting and restoring his old cars and trucks. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
