Montrose woman escapes serious injury after striking a deer in the roadway

On Saturday July 15th around 5:20 a.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Henry County along with Henry County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle accident on Missouri 52 Highway just west of CR SW 601 in rural Henry County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the eastbound 2018 Nissan driven by 21 year old Trinity R. Burgess-Brown of Montrose, Missouri struck a deer in the roadway.

Trinity R. Burgess-Brown sustained minor injures and she refused medical treatment at the scene. The vehicle received moderate damages and it was towed from the scene of this accident by Gary's Tow of Clinton, Missouri.
