Urich man escapes serious injury after striking a cow in the roadway

On Saturday July 15th around 5:17 a.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Henry County along with Henry County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle accident on Route MM north of NW CR 300 in rural Henry County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the northbound 2016 Ford Fusion driven by 34 year old William P. Mclay of Urich, Missouri struck a cow in the roadway.

Mr. Mclay sustained minor injuries and he refused medical treatment at the scene. The vehicle received extensive damages however it was driven from the scene of the accident.
