He graduated from Fort Scott High School and served his country in the United States Army. Jack was employed as a communication technician for AT&T before retirement.
He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, feed and watching birds. He was also a sports fan. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Catherine.
A Rosary will be prayed at 10 am Thursday, July 20, 2023 at our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in La Cygne. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am following the Rosary. Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mound City, Kansas.
