On 07-15-23, at approximately 10:53 am, Deputies with the Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to the area of 32200 179th Street in rural Pleasant Hill after a concerned citizen called about a suspicious person lying under a tree.
After deputies arrived and identified the subject, he ran away from the deputies on foot. K9 Riko was deployed and quickly apprehended the subject.
The subject was identified as Brian K. Dills (45) from Kingsville Missouri. Mr. Dills was arrested on an active Johnson County Missouri felony warrant. Mr. Dills was treated by EMS for minor abrasions.
Mr. Dills was transported to the Johnson County Missouri Sheriff’s Office for additional investigation. No deputies were injured in the incident.
