Karl Anthony Bays passed from the loving arms of his wife and children to the loving arms of his Lord on July 26, 2023.
Service times will be provided as more information becomes available.
Karl was a kind, faithful, honest and hard working man who loved his family, his friends, his dogs and his cast iron. Born on September 5, 1967 to Mary Ann (Schwarz) and Lewis Valmer Bays, he lived to be outdoors. He lived to BarBQue. He lived to be surrounded by his family and friends, making large meals, eating food, drinking beer and watching Chiefs games.
Karl was preceded in death by his sisters Valerie, Dana and Teresa, his parents Valmer and Mary Ann and numerous Aunts and Uncles including his Uncle Bill Bays, and his niece Crystal Cable. He is survived by his wife Brandy Bays and children Trenton Bays, Dalton (Kinlie) Haynes and Renzee Haynes. Also, those now learning to live without him, include brothers Mark Bays, Martin (Teresa) Bays and Donald Bays, many cousins including Kenneth (Andrea) Bays and many nieces and nephews. Karl had so many amazing friends, too numerous to count, including Pat, Cindy, Nick, Renee, Kevin and Annette, that survive him as well.
Most of all Karl was happy in life, preparing for retirement to live his life in the woods with his soulmate, friend and loving wife Brandy. He wasn’t ready to leave and we weren’t ready to let him go but we know he is gone for a reason and have yet to understand what the reason is. Karl always had wise words when they were needed. We can use some of his wise words as we manage through the days ahead.
We loved your smile, we loved your laugh and we loved you. See Ya, no good byes!
