Services will be held at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 21, 2023. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2023 followed by a burial at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Robert was born in Harrisonville, Missouri on May 6, 1980 to Robert K. Rape Sr. and Sherry Rape. After graduating high school, Robert continued his education and achieved an associate degree in business. For many years, he worked in the Local 12 Elevator Union where he started as a technician and continued to work his way up the ladder until he became the VP of Operations. During his time with the elevator union, Robert got to travel to several places such as Germany and Switzerland as well as different States. His favorite state to work out of was New York.
Robert was always up for a challenge so it was no surprise in October of 2022 when he decided to try his hands in the towing industry and joined his brother in law and sister’s company, J's Southland Tow as an outside sales rep. Robert didn't just stop there, he ended up with many more titles within as he took on every role possible. In life, Robert was a very intellectual, hardworking, and kind man.
He was often the life of the party as he was a jokester. Robert's grandparents were very important people in his life, and he always enjoyed mornings on the farm with his Uncle Mike. Family was a big part of his life. He really enjoyed it when he was able to get nerf gun wars started with all of the kids along with throwing around balls in the house for fun. Robert was blessed with two children, a daughter, Madison and a bonus son, Chase. When they were younger, he enjoyed coaching their soccer teams. Robert enjoyed watching mafia movies, Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals, and enjoyed trying his luck at the casino.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Sr. and Sherry Rape; as well as paternal and maternal grandparents.
