She was employed at Farmers and Merchants Bank. While employed, she was voted the Best Teller of Linn County numerous times. Lizz was also a very successful Scentsy dealer. She was a member of the Mound City Christian Church. She liked to crochet and collected many different kinds of animals. She was preceded in death by her father, Art Terry, step father, LeRoy Daniel, and a sister, Colette Fillpot. Lizz is survived by her husband Michael, mother, Barbara Danial, two sons, Brett Nation and wife Azia, and Chad Nation, a brother, Dwight Terry and wife Sabrina, a granddaughter, Genevieve, and parents in law, Danny and Linda Nation. Lizz was given more than her fair share of crosses to bear during her life. In spite of this, she always maintained a great attitude toward life and was able to remain at peace.
Funeral service will be held 10 am Friday, August 18, 2023 at the Mound City Christian Church. Burial will be in the Curry Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm Thursday, August 17 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Mound City Chapel.
