Shirlene was born in Appleton City, Missouri, on November 10, 1937, to Walter Snider and Frances Mae (Anderson) Snider. She attended school in Windsor, Missouri. She married Guido Leslie Terry in Kansas City, Missouri, on September 3, 1955.
Shirlene worked for Sears and Roebuck for 20 years as a sales associate in the television and appliance department. She was a den mother in scouts for several years. Shirlene was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time at Silver Dollar City with her family, especially the grandchildren. She and Guido have done a lot of traveling over the years. She was an active member of the Friendly Baptist Church, were she participated in bible study, served on many different committees, and reinforced her faith in God and the scripture.
Shirlene is survived by her husband, Guido Leslie Terry; children, Les (Carolyn) Terry, Randy (Alexander) Terry, Becky Terry, and Rob (Dana) Terry; grandchildren, Jesse (Laura) Terry, Tyler (Ann) Terry, Jill (Mark) Roberts, and Lindsey (Bretton) Ater; great-grandchildren, Grayson and Nolan Terry, Lennon and Luka Terry, Josephine Ater, Maisie and Isla Roberts; sisters, Bonnie (Jerry) Bailey, Gwen (James) Johnson, Charlotte (Larry) Gillespie, and Gail (Herschel) Vaughn; brother, Garry (Sandy) Snider; as well as many other family and friends.
She was preceded by her parents, Walter and Frances Mae Snider; son, Kerry Terry; sisters, Virginia Preston, Thelma Richter, Vernetta Clark, and Claudine Cerra; brothers, Lloyd, Clyde, Donald, Clifford, and Keith.
