Jim was born April 16, 1941 in Middletown, New York, to Wesley Fowler Clark II and Beatrice (Eckert) Clark. He attended Middletown High School, then joined the US Air Force. After serving on several different bases, Jim was assigned to Richards-Gebaur Air Force Base in Grandview, Missouri. While working in Peculiar, he met Judy Pedigo. They were united in marriage on September 8, 1962 at the Baptist Church in Peculiar.
Jim was a licensed electrician and made a career as a maintenance supervisor at Bayer Animal Health for 34 years until his retirement. He was very active in the community, serving on the Wills Cemetery Board for 45 years and the Eastgate Village Board. He was also a member of the American Legion and a member of the Lions Club where he served as president and was instrumental in the building of their new building.
Jim is survived by his wife, Judy, of Peculiar; his son, Shane Clark, of Peculiar; two daughters: Tamara Inge, of Boonville, Missouri, and Vickianne Snyder Clark (Don Fields), of Maggie Valley, North Carolina; one brother, Tom (Linda) Clark, of Batavia, New York; two grandsons, Blaise B. (Gina) Morgan and Myles A. Clark; one granddaughter Jaime Jo (Neil) Spell; one great-grandchild and two great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Gloria Golemboski and Beverly Delillo; brothers Bill, Warren Joseph, and Wesley; and a granddaughter, Vickianne Morgan Barry.
