Eileen was born January 6, 1922 on a farm near Burdette, Missouri to Earl and Ruby (Wyer) Hill. She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior at the Burdette Baptist Church at 13 years of age. Later after marriage and moving to Archie, she was a member of the Archie Baptist Church. She attended Adrian High School and graduated in 1938. In June 1940, she was united in marriage to Robert L. Stevens and had two sons, Robert and Kenneth. She and her husband built and operated the Dari-Dine drive-in restaurant together for 10 years. She continued the business for another 8 years after her husbands death, and retired in 1979. Her hobbies were knitting, quilting, reading, flower gardening, and playing cards. She leaves behind a legacy of love and hard-work, always reminding people to live by the Golden Rule and it is never too late to accept Jesus in your life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Eileen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; her son, Kenneth Stevens; her brother, Harry Hill; and her sister, Mildred Ladish. She is survived by her oldest son, Robert D. Stevens and his wife, Viktoria; grandson, Sean Stevens; and a host of nieces and nephews.
