A visitation will be held from 6-7:00 p.m. Friday, September 29, 2023 at the First Baptist Church of Peculiar, 216 E Broadway St., Peculiar, Missouri, followed by a Celebration of Life at 7:00 p.m.
Linda was born in Lamar, Missouri on January 30, 1947, the daughter of Calvin H. Smith and Myrtle L. Greer. Linda graduated high school and soon after was joined in marriage with her late husband, Larry Green on June 8, 1968. Their union was blessed with three children, Mytzi, Nichola, and Katrina. Linda was a faithful and active member of the First Baptist Church of Peculiar. Linda especially enjoyed traveling and vacationing with her family and friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Myrtle Smith; her loving husband of 50 years, Larry Green.
She is survived by her three daughters, Mytzi Stephens (Sam Lopez), Nichola Engle (Joe), and Katrina Caddell; sister, Glenda Ware; six grandchildren, Curtis Green, Ronee Gibbs, JoLee Stephens, Joey Engle, Spencer Engle, and Gavin Caddell; and one great-granddaughter, Sylvi Bowman-Green.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Children’s Program at First Baptist Church of Peculiar 216 E Broadway St, Peculiar, MO 64078.
