John William “Bill” Meade, age 88 of Butler, Missouri died Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the Butler Center. He was born April 17, 1935 to James Henson and Virginia Edna Jackson Meade in Tazewell, Virginia.
Bill is survived by two daughters, Christine E. Meade and Kathy S. Meade both of Butler, Missouri; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Ruby Rawlings, Mary Branzelle and Margaret Butler. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Bonnie Meade on June 27, 1985; his second wife, Emma Meade on November 19, 2020; three children, Virginia “Jenny” Miller, John William “Billy” Meade Jr. and Claude “Buddy” Meade; and seven brothers and sisters.
