The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the eastbound 2004 Honda Accord driven by 28 year old Daniel R. Davis of Springfield, Missouri traveled off the roadway, down an embankment and struck a tree.
Mr. Davis was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident and he was transported to Bland-Brumback Funeral Home in Stockton.
This is Troop D of the Missouri State Highway Patrol's 116th fatality of the year 2023. Next of kin notified.
