Nevada woman injured in two vehicle crash in Vernon County

On Wednesday January 10th around 7:25 a.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Vernon County along with Vernon County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident on BB Highway around 2 miles south of Nevada/

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when northbound 2015 Chevrolet Cruze driven by a 17 year old juvenile female from Nevada, MO was northbound and failed to yield to, and pulled into the path of, a southbound 2023 Jeep Gladiator driven by 65 year old Lisa Francis from Nevada, MO.

Lisa Francis sustained minor injuries and she was transported by EMS to Nevada Regional Medical Center for treatment.
