The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the southbound 2014 Hyundai Elantra driven by 33 year old Brianna M. Niver of Nevada, Missouri traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned.
Brianna M. Niver sustained serious injuries and she was airlifted to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin for treatment. A passenger in the vehicle 24 year old Kiarra M. Baird sustained minor injuries in this accident and she was transported by ambulance to Nevada Regional Medical Center for treatment.
