Jacqueline Kay Scott, age 55, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 14, 2024.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Rock Brook Church, 1715 173rd St. Belton, Missouri 64012. An 11:00 a.m funeral service will be held the following day, Wednesday March 20, 2024, at Rock Brook Church. A 3:00 p.m graveside committal will follow the service at Lowry City Cemetery in Lowry City, Missouri. These services will be open to all family and friends.
Jackie was born in Riverside, California on December 23, 1968 to Richard Shikles and Sharon Logue (Shikles). She graduated high school in 1987 and continued her education receiving her associate degree in education from Longview College. On June 13th 1987, Jackie got married to her husband, Kenny Scott, Jr, in Kansas City, Missouri. After that they were blessed with 4 children. All she ever wanted was to be a mother and she was a wonderful one. In life, Jackie was a Christian woman with strong faith and was a member of Rock Brook Church in Belton with her husband Kenny. Jackie was a lover of many things including drawing, gardening, singing, playing the piano, camping, and being the worlds best Mimi. She was truly full of love and of life. Jackie was many things, but most of all she was a loyal, loving, kind, faith driven, and selfless wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She often enjoyed going to the park with her grandson Wyatt, going to her daughters performances, and serving on the dream team at Rock Brook Church every week.
Jackie was preceded in death by her Grandmother Willa Russell, Grandfather William Barney, Grandmother Viola Shikles, and Grandfather Davis Shikles.
Cherishing Jackie’s memory is her loving husband of over thirty-six years, Kenny Scott, Jr.; Her four children and their spouses, Christopher Scott (Samantha Scott), Caleb Scott, Rebecca Scott (Jeremy Santiago), and Sarah Scott (Lucas Hagelin); father, Richard C Shikles, and mother Sharon Logue; sister, Jessica Rostock (Brent Rostock); grandson, Wyatt Scott; Nieces Karlie Scott and Destiny Barnett; and Nephews Ian Barnett and Braxton Rostock.
