In 1958 he moved to Blairstown with his family, after graduating from Sherwood High School in 1974, he went to work at Heimans in Holden where he met his wife, Gail. They were married in March 1979. They had 3 daughters.
He was very active in the girl’s lives including, horsemanship and sports. After working at International Paper in Pleasant Hill for a number of years, he took a Sales Rep. position at Cedar Creek Lumber in Grandview and retired from there in 2020. He enjoyed retirement very much.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles, and Frances Osborne, one brother Henry, 2 brother-in-law’s Rex Coulter and Jim Keller, one nephew Jeff Coulter.
He is survived by his wife Gail of the home; 3 daughters Holly Osborne, Clarksville, TN, Kelly and husband George Haggard, Holden, MO, and Katie Osborne of the home; 4 Grandchildren Jordan, Emalee and Benji Haggard and Wyatt McPherson; 2 brothers Steve Osborne and Wife Joyce of Kansas City, Eddie Osborne of Warrensburg; 2 sisters Charlotte Keller of Chillowee and Robin Osborne of Warrensburg and many nieces and nephews.
Wendell was cremated, we will have a Celebration of Life Gathering Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the our house 946 SW 1751st Road, Garden City, Missouri 64747, 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
