Update: LaCygne Kansas man injured in Bates County crash

On Monday March 18th around 8:36 a.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol along with Bates County County Sheriff's Deputies, Bates County EMS and Butler Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident on D Highway just east of CR NE 5003 east of Passaic.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the westbound 2006 Ford F-150 driven by 67 year old Larry D. Owens of LaCygne, Kansas traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturned.

Mr. Owens sustained moderate injuries and he was transported by ambulance to Bates County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
